Claude started playing bugle and trumpet when he was 9 years old. In 1972 he was awarded the diploma superior on the trumpet and musical theory from the Conservatory of Music, Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. He began playing bass at the age of thirteen playing in his village dance band. Since 1968 he has played in many different bands and styles of music like The Challengers and The Rhythm Band. He discovered his love and passion for jazz, jazz-rock and blues which channelled him into playing in different big bands and jazz combos like Plasma and Strange Brew. He presently also plays as bass player in the NorthernBig Band and a cover band called Keebo. One of his accomplishments was to arrange and “jazzifying” Bach and Händel. He has been the bass player of Sneaky Pete since 2000.
